2011 Market Update: Week Ten

Fri, 07/08/2011 - 08:20

Ridgefield, Washington Farmers Market

Two full booths for the Co-op table?

Now that’s progress. We’re selling honeyPioneer St. Café Bread, Old Liberty Theater Coffee, berries (maybe strawberries, maybe raspberries), hanging flower pots, probably bales of hay (yup, you heard right), and whatever else shows up at the Co-op table. We’re shooting for three booths.

Come down and check out our new craft vendors, while of course, not forgetting about our veterans. Lots of stuff for the kids.

Every week we’re getting more and more produce. This week’s round-up includes; onions, sugar snap and snow peas, lettuce, broccoli, squash, asparagus, cherries, peaches, potatoes, zucchini, and apricots.

Congrats to Shannon Meade for winning last week’s raffle, a gift certificate for a Vinnie’s Pizza. ‘bout time you won, Shannon. This week, we’re raffling off a $20 gift certificate to Inspiration Plantation.

The Ridgefield Farmers Market runs every Saturday, 9 am – 2 pm, at Davis Park in downtown Ridgefield.
